Barbie?!

So today ... I was offered a job by Mattel - the company who make Barbie (yep that classic Diva bitch) to be a Barbie look-a-like at events ... well needless to say the offer had me laughing ... can you imagine ... the opportunity for me to me MORE of a diva?!

Now, you know me, a little to about my business to be employed by someone else, BUT, I have to tell you I might toy with this for a little while ... give myself a monthly break from business lol.

The Water Club - Atlantic City

Mmmm I love the summer ... yesterday got home from a quick get-a-way/business meet at the Water Club (the latest addition to Atlantic City's Borgata) ... so first of all this place is by far the flyest hotel AC now has. You've gotta love their corner vista suites too (you can see the whole of Downtown) ... with L'Occitaine vanity products (my favorites from France) ... the pools and cabanas are so relaxing and I spent most of Friday lay out by the pool sipping a Banana and Honey smoothie for breakfast and ridiculous amounts of Evian water.
OK .. for a "non-gambling" hotel all you have to do is walk through a tiny walkway to get into the Borgata ... though this week the tables were D-E-A-D (I hope the economy improves soon ... because I hate it when the craps tables are quiet).

Oooh and they have a La Perla store ... and Just Cavalli for last minute fashionista purchases.

Bobby Flay ... as usual ... never dissapoints. PLEASE don't miss their Coconut Creme Brulee.

When it all falls down ...

This single rule has got me through the day - just STOP, relax your mind and consider what it is you're about to do. Hold back from making rash decisions and feeding into people's need for drama and attempts to bring you falling down. If you follow that rule - the situation will 9 times out of 10 work out in your favor.

There's no sense in being anxious or frustrated or angry or upset. Because all of those are you in your irrational state of mind. Nothing good can come of it.

Know that you can NEVER make everyone happy and that many people will have irrational expectations. It's a shame but sometimes when people can't have what they want they almost take pleasure in making you feel uncomfortable or unhappy. Misery LOVES company.

Today, this morning, it felt like the whole world was falling down around me. 3 issues came up in one go.
But trust ... it's all solved now.
