Today was one of those days, where things get done but not in their usual way. I woke up in a BEAUTIFUL home outside of White Plains ... mmhmm Bill Clinton and David Letterman were my morning neighbors. lol. Rolled out of bed and rushed to get home. You don't realize how much you really miss your home until you have to be away from it when you don't want to be. My home is so peaceful, it's my sanctuary. The lights are always low ... it's comfortable.

Currently waiting on some chinese to arrive ... time of the month lol ... time for general tso's chicken with vegetable fried rice and wonton soup ... mmhmm and I might just sneak soda too.

Currently ... Kodi is telling me about eating weed because there was nothing to roll up with. Special.

Currently ... Watching Kat Williams ... and dying laughing.

So let me tell you bout an issue that's been going on for a while. A certain ex of mine for some reason will not leave me alone. Drama with a capital D. See this man lived a good life with me ... nice cars (beamer, jeep, etc), nice apartments, shorthills mall regularly, and he remained well fed (we damn near ALWAYS ate out) and he was continually iced out. The "man" did not have to work. So anyhow ... he still clings on to the fact that it is done and over with and that he is now sleeping on his momma's floor (yeh real baller status now). So a recent argument over something entirely unrelated to ME, then, in his mind, turned into an issue of me ... the female in the situation ... yes, figure that one out. You see foolish boy wants to be a baller overnight ... and still fails to recognize that it requires hard work and hustle to continually maintain, fast money DOES NOT LAST unless you invest it into something with longevity.
How long will it take certain individuals to look around ... and see the people they left were in fact doing the RIGHT things. He really under-estimated this European. Mhmm fall back.

So .... my message for today "Make Your Paper Boo Boo" ... because no one else can be your income.

Hell, WHAT WAS I THINKING?! I am now blessed with the benefit of hindsight and a good man in my life.

So business is on the up.
I'm feeling truly loved.
And I am ... most of all ... Happy.

So, tonight I'm heading over to Legal Seafood in White Plains for dinner. (no idea what I'm wearing, it's purely business ... so .. something simple. ) For some reason, I like that restaurant, ever since an ex presented me with a gift of some Gucci shoes when we were eating at the one attached to Shorthills Mall. He was an asshole but knew how to be romantic. Their Calamari appetizers are really good.

Tonight is the start of something brand new, an expansion in my life and business and that's ALWAYS exciting for me. I'm finally getting to leave behind some aspects of my business that I disliked.

But enough of business, it's almost the weekend ...

Bout to take a LONG bath and enjoy my evening.

Spent the night in East Orange ... well most of it, (wearing black leggings, a deep grey tight 3/4 length navajo sweater and deep red super-tall Louboutin's) Broke a nail before I went out so had to wear a band aid :(

Ate the BEST curry goat with rice and plantains I've EVER had. Damn, honestly, when you're running around so much and eating out or eating take-out so much you forget how good a home cooked meal is. Especially when someone can really cook their ass off. DAMN I am so stuck on his cooking right now.

On a side note it was great to see A last night ... even that short ride was a lot of fun ;)

Thank god that Obama got the votes - now I have some sort of HOPE that this country will improve. I heart Obama. If McCain had been voted in I would have had to get a plane ticket home lol.

Currently watching SpongebobSquarepants because he's such an optimist.

Missing my white Hanro of Switzerland pyjamas ... they were so comfy, so sexy ... damn.

It's weird how coming home in a cab at 4 something in the AM can clear your mind. Things are so peaceful.

I ♥ men ... mmhmm I do. HOWEVER ... all talk and no action sends me into bitch mode. (contrary to popular belief I don't often go there)

I comprehend that many men are still stuck on the notion that women are supposed to be there for them like Comcast on Demand ... but click'n'trick is not every woman's style. Shit I have to run a business and my personal time is PRECIOUS ... I am not on call for your every potential "I might wanna see you" moment.

My business comes first. That's my income.
If I'm feeling someone enough of course I'm going to make a little time and room, but please, I am not pressed ... dick is a dime a dozen ... if a dick is disrupting things ... then I have to politely PASS for the sake of zen balance in my world.

Maybe I don't make myself clear enough - "Money over Bitches" is a phrase that works BOTH ways honey ... and Benjamin Franklin is my daddy ... shit "he" comes FIRST.

It's Sunday ... and it's been a peaceful day. Started off with unhealthy chicken-spot food ... mmhmm let me be lol. Last night spent time with Kodi and Blau ... smoked some (yep it's been a while), ate Papa John's garden fresh pizza (love heart love) and rhymed haha yeh imagine it, me in rap mode. You can stop laughing now. No ... really ... stop.

R.I.P to my uncle - who passed this week.

Business is GOOD and my new venture gained 3 new fabulous new clients in just one day. The website is up! The clients are rolling in ... and everything is moving forward.

Craving some home-cooked-food. The roti I had the other night was the best. Seriously ... took me back to being in East London. It also put me to bed. lol. Now I am craving colslaw and oxtails mmmhmmm.

Well ...

Last Night ...

It's Halloween ... ;) trick or treat?
So last night me, Kodi and Babyboy met up in the village for drinks. 3 martinis later I set the bar on fire ... :) Totally by accident of course. Another classic moment. There's not too much more I can say about that. But Kodi is STILL laughing about it.

Currently listening to "The Best of Lauren Hill" ... this mix is HOT

So ... spent the rest of my night in E.O ... woke up at 4am and crawled into a cab home. Had the BEST roti cooked for me that I've had in a long time last night. That man can COOK.

At home with Kodi tonight being diva-ish ... n working on a business concept.

Spent most of the day with Kodi, and half the morning "discussing" with A.I. my current dilemma. I've never heard anyone lay it down n make so much sense ... seriously. He is one of the realest men I know and what's more he has A PLAN. Yes ... he thinks further than the end of his block and his next meal. You have to have nothing but respect for a man with a plan. He layed it down about how love is REALLY supposed to be. Whoever he settles down with is going to be a lucky and loved woman.

Anyhow ... enough for tonight, I'm about to watch re-runs of Girlfriends n drink my water.
